As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a key role in the assembly and installation of bespoke electrical systems on specialist vehicles and equipment. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance while supporting production targets and customer requirements.
- Install and modify customised vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses and control systems
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
- Support the build and commissioning of specialist vehicle systems
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Complete relevant production and quality documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures
- Support additional production activities as required
You should have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. A flexible and adaptable approach to workload requirements is essential, along with experience working with machine controls and within automotive, commercial vehicle, specialist vehicle, or manufacturing environments.
