We are currently seeking a reliable Warehouse & Delivery Operative to join our client based in the RG2 area of Reading. This is a hands-on role combining warehouse operations with regular driving duties, supporting the smooth processing and delivery of orders.
Warehouse Responsibilities
- Pick products for print, embroidery, and customer dispatch
- Pack and prepare orders accurately and on time
- Receive, check, and book in supplier deliveries
- Store goods correctly and maintain organised stock locations
- Process customer returns through the warehouse system
- Prepare goods for return to suppliers where required
- Participate in stock taking and stock control activities
Driving Responsibilities
- Required at least 2‑3 days per week, depending on operational demand.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and collect goods from customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Load and unload goods safely during transportation
- Carry out basic vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
- Comply with all road traffic legislation and company driving policies
About You
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable with driving as a regular part of your role
