About the role

We are recruiting a Kitchen Sales & Design Consultant on behalf of a growing kitchen design and fabrication business. You will be showroom based, meeting customers, designing bespoke kitchens and managing the full process from initial consultation through to installation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for design and sales who wants to earn well on top of a solid base salary.

What you'll be doing

  • Meeting and looking after customers when they visit the showroom
  • Designing bespoke kitchens — working with floor plans and exact measurements
  • Going out to measure jobs on site at customer properties
  • Managing kitchen orders imported from Germany — typical lead time 4–5 weeks
  • Double checking all orders before they are placed and on arrival
  • Working closely with the fabrication team to ensure smooth delivery of each project
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and ensuring a great experience from start to finish

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in kitchen sales, design or a similar showroom role
  • Confident speaking with customers and managing the full sales process
  • Good eye for design and able to work with floor plans and measurements
  • Organised and thorough — double checking orders and managing timelines is key
  • Full driving licence — local site visits required
  • Friendly, professional and customer focused

What's on offer

  • £28,000 base salary
  • 20% commission on sales
  • 7% of net profit on kitchen projects (example: £10,000 net profit = £700 bonus)
