Air Freight Co-ordinator – Islington, London (Hybrid, £30k–£35k)
Location: Islington, London (Hybrid – office Tuesday to Thursday)
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

The Role
As an Air Freight Co-ordinator, you will:
- Manage day-to-day air freight export operations, with a strong emphasis on LATAM shipments
- Build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, airlines, and overseas agents
- Arrange collections, deliveries, and ensure shipments move on time, in full compliance
- Prepare and check customs and shipping documentation
- Liaise with brokers to ensure smooth import and export clearance
- Provide accurate and competitive quotations
- Monitor shipments proactively, resolving service issues or delays
- Maintain accurate operational records (Cargowise training provided if required)
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in logistics operations within a UK freight forwarder
- Strong knowledge of air freight operations, UK suppliers, and airline routings
- Solid understanding of UK import/export customs clearance procedures
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Desirable:
- Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish
- Previous LATAM trade lane experience
- Experience using Cargowise
