A small European bank is urgently seeking a dynamic new addition to assist in its busy Compliance department.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Head of Compliance in daily activities such as monitoring and control for the Compliance Monitoring Programme in the London office
- Assisting with compliance projects related to policies and procedures
- Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry-specific updates
- Managing regulatory data and preparing Management Information (MI)
- Aiding the MLRO in daily tasks like reviewing and signing off on KYC reviews and onboarding new clients which includes updating the KYC customer database, conducting screenings in World-Check One, handling incoming alerts, monitoring sanctions lists, and assessing the adequacy of EDD, CDD, and KYC
Your experience must include:
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, specifically with the Compliance Monitoring Programme in the banking sector
- Strong knowledge of UK banking laws and regulations
- Proficiency in advanced Excel
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively at all levels
Please note this role will be working hybrid – 4 days a week in the London office and 1 day from home.
