A small international bank is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to assist with some core projects underway. Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Assisting with the successful implementation of 3 main projects – the update of the Treasury system, the implementation of a new core banking system at the Branch and Comms Room Refurb
  • Navigating the steering groups and change requests through Head Office
  • Attending meetings with outsourced vendor (Banking infrastructure provider and Branch backup) to ensure high levels of service continues
  • Assisting with the SWIFT Message format changes IS02022 Global changes for cross border payments
  • Managing Phase-2 of the Murex project
  • Managing in conjunction with Head Office the migration of Branch Guarantees to EximBills and the Onboarding in a new front end system for customers
  • Providing oversight of Branch Third Party Risk Management for IT Contracts, ensuring Contracts and Licenses are managed correctly
  • Co-ordinating with the Project team working on the Branch refurbishment to ensure smooth rebuild of the IT Comms room
  • Providing support and enhancement to existing IT infrastructure – e.g. bringing in PowerBI software

Your experience must include:

  • Strong proven and relevant IT project management skills gained within international banking, to lead, manage and deliver individual projects
  • Good understanding of IT systems, Automations, Upgrades & Migrations, Cyber Security – including Midas, FPM, Power9 iSeries platform, iSeries IOS etc
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workload

This role will be hybrid – working 3 days a week in the London office and 2 days remotely.
