The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal sheets in the manufacture of high-quality fabrications in mild steel, special alloy steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. These fabrications are used in mineral processing, mining, and MOD.

The position involves working with power tools and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials. You will need to conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts to ensure safety and quality standards.

You need to have experience in plate welding and an understanding of welding standards. Fabrication experience in medium to heavy steel is required, as well as experience using power tools, hand tools, shears, and grinders.
