Prime Life is looking for passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our friendly team. A current NMC pin is essential for the role, which will be based at Peaker Park Care Village in the heart of Market Harborough. The Care Village is designed to cater to the needs of 137 residents with a range of age‑related health conditions, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and dementia, who require dignified support from our caring team. Candidates must be patient, understanding and respectful of each resident’s individual abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete nursing notes accurately
  • Assist in the safe ordering, custody, storing and administration of all medication
  • Ensure that Care Plans and records are evaluated, up to date and accurate
  • Take responsibility for updated and performing tasks on the clinical calendar
  • Visit each client daily to assess their needs and continually seek to improve care delivered to clients
  • Ensure compliance with N.M.C code of conduct at all times
  • Ensure that each client’s dignity and independence, irrespective of the severity of their physical or mental ability, is respected
  • Participate in daily handover, taking the lead for nursing clients with care staff and nurses
  • Attend and participate in daily meetings and share information
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by your manager to meet the changing needs of the business

Qualifications and attributes

  • Valid Nursing Pin and some post‑qualification experience within a clinical setting
  • Post‑qualification experience within a clinical setting
  • Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents
  • Patient, understanding and respectful towards residents’ individual abilities
