Prime Life is looking for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Full‑Time Night Care Assistant (Medication Trained). This role will be based at St. Georges in the heart of Leicester and is part of a home specially designed to cater to the every need of 36 residents living with a range of physical and mental health conditions related to ageing.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene needs throughout the night
  • Administering medication safely and accurately in line with company policies and procedures
  • Completing routine welfare checks to ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and well
  • Supporting residents with nutrition and hydration where required
  • Encouraging residents to mobilise safely around the home using mobility aids and specialist equipment
  • Providing emotional support, friendship, and companionship to residents
  • Maintaining accurate and timely care records and medication documentation
  • Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to promote the health and wellbeing of residents
  • Welcoming and assisting family members and visitors with enquiries where appropriate

Qualifications

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Candidates must be medication trained and ideally have previous experience within a Care Assistant or Support Worker role. You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a compassionate, professional approach to care. It is essential that candidates are patient, understanding, and respectful of each resident's individual needs and abilities.

This role offers a great work‑life balance, with regular set shift patterns between the hours of 8pm and 8am across a 7‑day working week.
