Catering Assistant - 9 Hours per Week (Evening Suppers)
Make a difference every evening and give back to your community! We are looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our evening catering team at Springhill House in Accrington. Springhill House has been specially designed to meet the needs of 116 residents living with a range of physical, age-related and mental health conditions. Our residents enjoy freshly prepared evening meals, and you'll play an important role in ensuring they receive excellent service and a positive dining experience.

This is a part-time role working 9 hours per week on a fixed evening rota:
- Tuesday: 5.30pm - 8.30pm
- Wednesday: 5.30pm - 8.30pm
- Thursday: 5.30pm - 8.30pm

Responsibilities of our Catering Assistant
- Preparing and serving evening meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
- Supporting residents to enjoy a dignified dining experience.
- Ensuring food is prepared, stored and served safely in line with food hygiene standards.
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen following the evening service.
- Assisting with stock rotation and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
What we're looking for
- We're looking for someone who is caring, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Previous catering or kitchen experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
- A Food Hygiene qualification is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
