Prime Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and professional PCV (Cat D) drivers for weekend rail replacement services. You will be operating from our Harlow and Hoddesdon depots on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential for additional midweek shifts.
What We Offer:
- Β£20 per hour pay rate
- Consistent weekend work with the potential for extra shifts
- Opportunities for additional driving work including contract services, private hire, and events
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses on designated rail replacement routes
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Complete daily walk-round vehicle checks using app-based tools
- Maintain punctuality and follow assigned timetables
- Ensure compliance with all driving and safety regulations (CPC & tacho)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and control teams
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and personal appearance
Requirements:
- Full PCV licence (Cat D) with no automatic restriction
- Valid CPC and tachograph card (preferred)
- Previous experience in rail replacement or bus driving
- Must live locally to Harlow or Hoddesdon
- Own transport to reach either depot for early or late shifts
- Comfortable with using mobile apps for vehicle walk-round checks
- Strong communication skills
