About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a reliable and caring Passenger Assistant to support school transport services across SW6 Fulham and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of passengers, primarily children, during their journey to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely assist passengers during pick-ups and drop-offs
- Support children with additional needs where required
- Maintain a calm and professional environment on the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with the driver, parents, and school staff
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Report any concerns or incidents promptly
Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Friendly and patient disposition
- Ability to work Monday to Friday during school transport hours
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable passengers is beneficial but not essential
- Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
