Prime Jobs Recruitment are recruiting Minibus Drivers to support Download Festival 2026 at Donington Park, Derby from 9th - 15th June 2026. This is one of our biggest and most exciting annual contracts, providing accessible shuttle services for festival guests across the event site. With the festival continuing to grow year on year, we are looking for reliable and professional drivers to join the team.

Depot Location: Harlow

Work Periods Available:

  • Tuesday 9th June - Monday 15th June
  • Thursday 11th June - Monday 15th June

Shared hotel accommodation provided throughout the event.

The Role: Drivers will operate 16-30 seater wheelchair accessible minibuses on dedicated shuttle routes across the festival site, including:

  • Transport Hub
  • Accessible Camping Areas
  • Main Festival Arenas

Route learning and onsite support will be provided. Drivers must be comfortable assisting wheelchair passengers, including loading and securing passengers safely. Previous accessible transport experience is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided onsite.

Shift Patterns: This is a shift-based role with operational hours running between approximately 8am - 4am. Drivers will work a mixture of early and late shifts throughout the event. Expected shift durations include:

  • Route Learning & Travel Days - 7 Hours
  • In Service Days - 10-12 Hours
  • Final Day Return Shifts - 7-10 Hours depending on rota

Drivers will meet at our Harlow depot before travelling together to Donington Park in the minibuses. Secure parking is available for personal vehicles at the depot.

Festival Perks: As part of the event team, staff receive festival wristbands which may allow access to the festival during downtime. Previous drivers have enjoyed performances from major artists while onsite. This year's headliners include Guns N' Roses and Linkin Park.

Requirements:

  • Valid D1 or PCV Licence
  • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card (where applicable)
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Comfortable working away from home for the event duration
  • Ability to assist wheelchair passengers independently
