Location: Evergreen-Cambian Residential Home Type: 5-bed CSE Children's Home (currently supporting 4 service users)
Role Overview
We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs within a residential care setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months care experience preferred
- Good communication and safeguarding awareness
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Compliance Documents Required:
- Valid Photo ID
- Proof of Right to Work
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (Update Service where applicable)
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
- Full employment/education history from age 11 with gaps explained
- Minimum 2 references covering previous 2 years
- Proof of address (within 3 months)
- 5-year address history
- CPD accredited training certificates
Duties
- Support young people with daily activities and wellbeing
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
- Complete records and follow safeguarding procedures
- Work as part of a supportive care team
