We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide 2:1, 24/7 support for an individual living independently in their own home. The individual has autism, learning disabilities, is non-verbal, and may display challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support at all times
  • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access
  • Use appropriate methods to support non-verbal communication
  • Manage and respond to challenging behaviours in line with care plans
  • Administer and record medication
  • Work in line with MCA and DoLS guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team

Requirements

  • Experience in autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Understanding of challenging behaviour
  • Knowledge of MCA/DoLS (or willingness to learn)
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate
