Our ambition is to be the restoration company insurers turn to first for high-net-worth claims. We’ve built a strong reputation for responsiveness, technical competence and professionalism, and we’re continuing to invest in our people, standards and services as the business grows.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technician to take ownership of fire and water damage restoration projects, while helping maintain high standards across our field-based team.

You’ll manage drying programmes and restoration works from initial assessment through to completion, making sound technical decisions, coordinating technicians and communicating with clients and stakeholders.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example and is confident managing complex projects in high-value properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage drying programmes, including assessment, moisture mapping, equipment selection, monitoring and drying validation

  • Oversee restoration and mitigation works, including strip‑out, cleaning and reinstatement preparation

  • Lead and coordinate technicians on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

  • Coach and support less experienced technicians

  • Make informed technical decisions and escape issues where necessary

  • Communicate clearly with policyholders, loss adjusters and internal teams

  • Produce accurate reports, moisture readings, photographs and job records

  • Maintain health and safety standards and site compliance

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment use and service delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in fire and/or water damage restoration, including responsibility for managing projects

  • Strong understanding of structural drying, psychrometry, moisture measurement and restoration equipment

  • Experience supervising or guiding other technicians on site

  • Confident working independently and making technical decisions

  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills

  • Professional and considerate when working in high‑value, occupied properties

  • Organised, reliable and thorough with documentation

  • Proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards

  • Comfortable using mobile devices and job‑management systems

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Based within approximately one hour of Watford

BDMA, IICRC (WRT/ASD/FSRT), CSCS or IOSH qualifications would be advantageous, alongside experience in leak detection, plumbing or building construction.

What We Offer

  • £36,000–£40,000 depending on experience

  • Company vehicle, equipment and uniform

  • Overtime opportunities and bonus scheme

  • Funded training and professional development

  • Opportunities to progress into further technical or management responsibilities

  • Supportive, quality-driven team culture

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime available where required

  • Field-based across London, the Home Counties and South East

  • Based within one hour of our Watford HQ
