Experienced CCDO Demolition Topman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CCDO Demolition Topman to lead and oversee demolition operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of construction and demolition, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality standards throughout all phases of the project. This role requires a professional capable of managing a team, interpreting technical drawings, and demolition tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise demolition team, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
• Plan and coordinate demolition activities, including the safe removal of structures using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
• Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow.

Skills

• Proven experience as a CCDO Demolition Topman or similar supervisory role within the construction or demolition industry.
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to demolition sites.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning and executing demolition tasks.

Required licence & certification:

CCDO Demolition (Required)

CSCS Card (Required)

Driving Licence (Preferred)

Health & safety (Preferred)

Asbestos Training ( Preferred)
