Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Workshop Operative to work in the North Weald area for a well-established Manufacturing and Production company who designs and manufactures high end doors and panels for both commercial and residential clients. Must be able to drive and have your own transport due to location.
Duties of the Workshop Operative:
- Work within a team operating a variety of machinery: Beam Saw, Hot Press, Edge Bander and sander.
- Quality check work produced.
The ideal Workshop Operative:
- Previous experience gained within wood working/joinery/carpentry would be an advantage.
- Machinery operation experience – training will be given on some machinery.
- Must be a team player, proactive with a can-do, positive attitude and able to use own initiative.
- Must be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills along with excellent attention to detail.
- Due to location, own transport is essential.
