Are you looking to build a long-term career within engineering? We are currently recruiting a Quality Inspector to join a leading UK manufacturer supplying high-specification engineered parts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical or engineering background who is keen to develop their skills across a wide range of inspection and testing processes within a specialist manufacturing environment. If you've/are about to Graduate with a relevant qualification, this may be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of engineered components
- Support hydrostatic pressure testing, liquid penetrant inspection, and magnetic particle testing
- Assist with calibration of measuring equipment
- Complete part marking and inspection documentation
- Raise inspection reports and certification records
- Identify and report non-conforming products
- Operate a range of equipment and measuring tools
- Work closely with quality and production teams to maintain high standards
Full training will be provided in:
- Engineering drawings and geometrical tolerancing
- Operation of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
- Use of handheld measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Inspection procedures and testing techniques
- Quality reporting and certification processes
- Non-conformance handling and reporting
About You:
- Technical or engineering background, either academically or through practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude with a desire to develop within an engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
