Prime Appointments is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take responsibility for our established Office & Finance permanent recruitment desk based at our Head Office in Witham. Operating successfully for over 30 years, this division has a strong client base, existing business, an established candidate network and an excellent reputation across Essex and Suffolk. This isn’t a role where you’ll be expected to build a desk from scratch. Instead, you’ll inherit existing relationships and a strong market presence, providing the platform to focus on what you do best - recruiting, developing client partnerships and continuing the growth of a successful division.
The Senior Recruitment Consultant role will include but is not limited to:
- Manage and develop the Office & Finance Permanent Division
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Deliver consultative recruitment solutions across a range of office and finance positions
- Source, interview and qualify candidates through a variety of channels
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job on through to placement
- Provide clients with market insight, salary benchmarking and recruitment advice when needed
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive business development activity
- Attend client meetings both virtually and face-to-face
- Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Work towards agreed weekly KPIs and monthly revenue targets while driving the continued growth of the division
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner, delivering exceptional service and long-term value
About you:
- Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally within permanent recruitment
- A successful track record of billing and developing client relationships
- Strong business development and account management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, driven and ambitious with a genuine desire to succeed
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a desk
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional and consultative approach to recruitment
Package:
- £34,000 - £36,000 basic salary
- Uncapped monthly commission
- Expected OTE of £50,000+ in year one
- Flexible working hours between 8.00am and 5.30pm (40-hour week)
- 22 days annual leave, increasing with service to 27 days, plus Bank Holidays
