A manufacturer of automotive components based in Witham is looking to hire a Paint Spraying Supervisor to join their team and lead their team of Paint Sprayers and Preppers. The components produced are low volume, high value parts, so attention to detail for the team is paramount! The environment you will be working in is first class!
The role is working 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with a salary up to £49,290 per annum.
To be considered for the role, you will have at least 5 years Paint Spraying experience, have experience leading a team and the ability to understand and follow instruction from technical data sheets.
Paint Spraying Supervisor duties:
- Supervise daily operations of the paint shop, ensuring all components are prepared, painted and finished to high standards
- Lead, train and support a team of painters, prep technicians and apprentices
- Inspect work
- Enforce health and safety policies
- Monitor equipment conditions
- Review completed paintwork for defects such as runs, orange peel or colour mismatches
- Schedule jobs and allocate tasks to maximise efficiency
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development
