We are currently recruiting for Night Shift Factory Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in Witham. This is a long-term opportunity offering full-time hours and the chance to secure a permanent position with increased pay rates.
This role will involve working within a manufacturing and production environment, so previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential.
Duties of the Night Shift Factory Operative will include:
- Preparing products for the production process
- Working on production lines and within the factory environment
- Operating machinery and manufacturing equipment
- Using overhead cranes and forklifts where required (training provided)
- Loading, unloading and moving products safely around the factory
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Keeping working areas clean, safe and organised
- Following all production procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Supporting other departments when required
The ideal Night Shift Factory Operative candidate will have:
- Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience
- A good attitude towards work and willingness to learn
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- The ability to carry out physical work and manual handling duties
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- A strong awareness of health & safety within a factory environment
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00pm - 6:00am
