Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer? We're recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading glass manufacturer based in Witham. This is a permanent position offering excellent earning potential, modern vehicles and opportunities for progression.

You will be delivering specialist glass products to commercial customers across the UK, completing around 6-10 deliveries per day. This is a multi-drop role involving early starts, plenty of city driving and occasional overnight stays, with a night out allowance paid when required.

Duties of HGV Class 2 Driver include:

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries across the UK
  • Loading, securing and unloading glass products safely
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Planning delivery routes to meet customer schedules
  • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
  • Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle records
  • Working closely with the transport team to ensure deliveries run smoothly
  • Following all road transport legislation and company procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 Licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Moffett licence or previous Moffett experience (highly desirable)
  • Previous multi-drop driving experience would be beneficial
  • A professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication and time management skills
