Warehouse Operative

We have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Operative for a local manufacturing firm local to Ipswich & Stowmarket. The role will at first be working at the companies Ipswich site, before moving to their new unit, which is opening in Stowmarket, Suffolk. We are offering a fantastic salary with the potential of further bonuses along the way. Starting salary from £30,000 with OTE expected to be even higher! Two different shifts are available, either working early shift of 06:00-15:30 or 07:30-17:00. You MUST have an in-date counter balancer license. A reach truck license will be advantageous, but this is not essential. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be computer literate, and thrive in a busy warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Operating forklifts (Counterbalance & Reach Truck) to move stock efficiently and safely Loading and unloading goods Stock checking and inventory management Picking and packing orders for dispatch Using computer systems for stock management and order processing Supporting with general warehouse duties as required Skills & Qualifications: Valid Counterbalance forklift license (essential) Reach truck license (ideal, but not essential) Computer literate with experience using warehouse management systems Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a busy environment Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team If you think this role may be of interest, please contact Carl at Prime Appointments.
