Role: TIG Welder Start date: Immediate Location: Outskirts of Bury St Edmunds (Own transport required) Pay: £15ph (negotiable based on experience) Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00-17:00 Contract: Temp-Perm Are you a TIG welder looking for a job offering you a competitive starting salary & a payrise after 3 months? Are you willing to work regular overtime all at increased rates of pay? Do you live local to Woolpit, Suffolk? If yes to the above, then apply today! We are looking for an experienced welder fabricator for a small engineering firm who specialise in producing architectural metal work. You will be welding a mix between bespoke one-offs & bulk orders. So, will need to have a flexible approach to where you will be working. You will need to be familiar with punching, pressing, bending, grinding, drilling, tapping, fettling etc. Previous experience operating machinery is not essential but would be advantageous. Standard hours of work are 08:00-17:00, on a 40-hour week, but we can be flexible with this. Due to the location of the business, you will need your own form of transportation to get there as there is no local public transport.
