A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to support their team.

This is a full-time temporary position working Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm, with a competitive hourly rate depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to: Raising and processing purchase orders and following up outstanding orders.

Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, deliveries and order queries.

Updating purchasing, supplier and inventory records accurately.

Supporting the purchasing team with MRP, stock and material requirements.

Assisting with purchasing reports, spreadsheets and general procurement administration.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role: Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain administration.

Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.

Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams.

Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with an ERP/MRP system is advantageous.
