We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with assembly, fabrication, or sheet metal experience looking to develop their skills within a busy production environment.
Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator Duties:
- Operating spot welding and pemserting equipment to assemble sheet metal components
- Reading and following engineering drawings and production instructions
- Positioning and securing components ready for assembly
- Carrying out quality checks on completed products
- Using hand tools to complete assembly tasks
- Supporting general production and fabrication duties
- Identifying any quality issues and reporting concerns to the team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or engineering
- Experience using spot welding equipment, pemserting machinery or similar tools would be advantageous
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and working with small components
- Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
Training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and similar manufacturing experience.
