A client of ours in the Stowmarket area are recruiting a Graduate Sales Associate to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm. Paying £27,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to develop a career within technical sales, business development and account management. Please note that you must be able to drive due to travel being a requirement of this role.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the generation and development of new business opportunities while learning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to customer handover.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and support account growth activities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity through the CRM system.
- Assist with sales and marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Promote cutting and welding solutions through customer visits, industry events, and exhibitions.
- Develop technical product knowledge to provide customers with appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure excellent service and support.
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify potential opportunities.
- Support the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Graduate Sales Associate position:
- Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages and willing to learn CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, Full UK driving licence.
