Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production company based in Southminster, Essex on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, reliable, and happy to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site.
Key Responsibilities:- Using shovels to keep pathways clean and free from obstructions
- Cleaning production and factory areas
- Baling and disposing of waste materials
- Cleaning communal areas, including toilets, staff facilities, and offices
- Supporting general cleaning and hygiene duties across the site
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location of the role
- Previous cleaning experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is desirable
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling and physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
