A client of ours in the Southend area are recruiting a Sales Account Manager to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 4.45pm and paying up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Sales Account Manager role will include but are not limited to:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Managing and developing existing customer accounts to maximise retention and margin
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Preparing and managing quotations, tenders, and securing orders
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and sharing commercial insights
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Previous experience in a sales/account management role (ideally telecoms/datacomms or similar)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Technical interest (fibre optic knowledge advantageous but not essential)
