A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area are recruiting a Service and Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm. Paying £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties
- Schedule and coordinate service engineers, including travel arrangements
- Sell contracts/service visits to maintain a full diary/schedule of works
- Support breakdown situations by coordinating engineers and liaising with the technical team
- Process spare parts enquiries, sales, ordering and shipping
- Prepare commercial invoices, customs paperwork and shipping documentation
- Coordinate machine commissioning, engineer visits and operator training
- Maintain sales/enquiry records and support monthly reporting
- Work closely with workshop and operations teams to track machine completion schedules
Skills & Experience
- Engineering, manufacturing and production industry experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience in service coordination, operations, logistics or engineering support preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT and administration skills
- Experience with shipping/export paperwork beneficial
