R&D Project Manager | Colchester Area | Up to £60,000 | Electronics An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced R&D Project Manager to join an established and innovative engineering business in the Colchester area. This role will involve managing a range of technical projects from concept through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities Manage engineering and New Product Development (NPD) projects from initial concept through to delivery Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, mechanical design and manufacturing Identify and manage project risks, priorities and deadlines Communicate project progress and key milestones to senior stakeholders Lead and support a small project coordination team Drive improvements in project management processes and reporting About You Proven Project Management experience within engineering, R&D or product development Experience delivering New Product Development (NPD) projects Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills Previous team leadership or line management experience Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Relevant engineering or project management qualifications would be advantageous Experience with Smartsheet or Teamwork would be beneficial Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Holiday buy and sell scheme Life assurance Gym/spa membership Employee Assistance Programme Training and development opportunities Company social events This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering business, playing a key role in delivering innovative products and supporting continued growth.
