The Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will provide essential quality control support to the production team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting turned, ground, and assembled components using precision measuring tools
- Conducting in-process and final inspections, maintaining accurate records
- Carrying out internal audits and calibration activities
- Assisting in improving machining process capabilities
- Supporting corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional measurement
- Experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering (desirable)
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and quality standards
