A client of ours in the Braintree area are recruiting a Project Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm and paying Β£26,500 – Β£27,500 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Interpret customer drawings/specifications and check requirements against products.
Allocate tasks to relevant teams.
Prepare pricing workups and quotations.
Use Excel/CRM systems for costing and quotes.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement to confirm costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure quotations meet quality standards and profit margins.
Assist with budgeting orders and summarising costs.
Act as point of contact, updating stakeholders on project status.
Monitor projects/quotations, managing issues or changes.
Assist in handing over confirmed orders to delivery teams.
Coordinate resources, equipment, and information for projects.
Handle general administration as needed.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Project Coordinator position:

Engineering, Manufacturing and Production industry experience essential.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to read/interpret technical drawings.
Proficient within the Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
Prior experience within estimating desirable but not essential.
Previous pricing, costing or quoting experience.
