A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Production Planner to join their team.

This is a full-time position working Monday β Thursday, 7:30am β 4:00pm, and Friday, 7:30am β 12:30pm, paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
This is an initial 3-6 month tempoarary role with the intention to become permanent, depending on performance and business needs.
Your key duties in this Production Planner role will include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives
Coordinating with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure material availability
Monitoring progress and adjusting schedules to maintain efficiency
Using Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP) and MRP systems to manage planning data, stock levels, and production workflows
Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks or capacity constraints
Maintaining accurate records and preparing regular management reportsSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and MRP system
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
High attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting
