Job Title: Production Picker Location: Ixworth, Bury St Edmunds (rural location – Transport Required) Salary: £12.50ph+ Hours of work: 40 hours per week The following role will have you working as park of the stores department managing inventory for the production team. This will involve picking all the parts ready on trolleys for the manufacturing team. We are offering a salary of over £12.50ph+, with overtime available & an excellent holiday allowance. Working hours are 08:00-16:30 with an early finish EVERY Friday. Any experience with hand tools would be highly advantageous, whether its production or assembly based. Duties: – Picking machine parts from the warehouse Reading & working from stock lists & managing inventory as you work Assist in the warehouse as and when required Regularly reconcile physical stock to computerised record Be responsible for own health and safety and personal development, keeping up to date with relevant issues in relation to job role and to demonstrate good housekeeping Previous warehouse experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems. A forklift license would be hugely beneficial, but it is not essential for the role.
