Production Operative

Role: Production Operative Start date: Immediate Start Location: Saxmundham, Suffolk (early finish on Fridays) Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: £12.21ph+ (WEEKLY PAY) & pay rise after 3 months We are looking for a production staff who are immediately available to work for a manufacturer based on the outskirts of Saxmundham, Suffolk. The company offer an excellent training & development program, where you can learn all aspects of the business. As you progress & work in further areas of the business, you will have the opportunity to further increase your salary. This would be working initial hours 06:45-16:30 with an early finish on Friday. After an initial training period, you will then move onto rotating shifts of 06:00-14:00 one week & 14:00-22:00 the following. Overtime is paid @ increased rates of pay. Production Operative duties include: – Assisting the machine operator with running the machine Taking products off the conveyor, checking for defects as you go Packaging items ready for dispatch Operating a clean as you approach Ensuring you comply with all standards, procedures, and practices If you have any manufacturing or warehouse / packaging experience, then we want to hear from you!
