As a Product Safety and Compliance Manager, you will help shape safe, compliant products used around the world. In this role, you will lead global product compliance efforts, making sure our designs meet key safety and regulatory standards. From hazard assessments to international testing coordination, you will ensure products are safe, documented, and ready for use across our worldwide operations.

You will be part of a supportive team and work closely with engineers, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to keep compliance processes efficient, up to date, and aligned with changing legislation.

What you will do:

  • Oversee product testing, certification, and safety documentation to meet global standards (including CE, UKCA, and NRTL).
  • Support engineers during development with compliance advice, test planning, and risk assessments.
  • Lead compliance reviews, manage technical files, and help develop internal safety procedures.
  • Coordinate outsourced product testing and liaise with external certification agencies.
  • Stay on top of regulatory changes and make recommendations on how to respond.
  • Contribute to safety investigations and support field teams with compliance issues.

What you will need:

  • A degree in Electro-Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Strong experience managing product safety and compliance globally, including CE, UKCA, and NRTL.
  • Good knowledge of EMC and LVD standards.
  • Experience with high-voltage product compliance (10kV+).
  • Familiarity with external certification processes, technical file creation, and lab testing.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience with RoHS, REACH, and ISO 17025 compliance.
  • Knowledge of test system architectures such as PCI, PXI, or LXI.
  • FMEA experience in product design.
