We're recruiting a Product Development Manager for a leading UK manufacturer of dust and fume extraction systems. This is a hands-on, full-lifecycle role - ideal for someone who enjoys designing industrial products from the ground up. As Product Development Manager, you'll manage everything from concept research and CAD design to testing, supplier engagement, and product launch - playing a key role in shaping the next generation of air filtration systems used by major UK manufacturers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research and apply new technologies
  • Design and prototype products to British Standards
  • Source suppliers and third-party solutions
  • Conduct testing and create full documentation
  • Support product marketing and launch activity
  • Act as the internal technical expert

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
  • Strong product development background
  • Experience with HVAC, filtration, or similar systems
  • Skilled in SolidWorks or Inventor
  • Confident with supplier engagement and documentation
