Part-Time Office and Accounts Assistant wanted ASAP!
Location: Witham, Essex (Office-based)
Days: Monday to Wednesday
Hours: 9:00am-3:30pm
Contract: Temporary, up to 9-12 months (maternity cover)
Pay: £13-£13.25 per hour
Start Date: End of June
Benefits: 22 days holiday (pro rata) + bank holidays, pension after 3 months
Main Responsibilities for this Office & Accounts Assistant:
- Assist with weekly payroll processes: data input, running reports, and cross-checking
- Support the Payroll Supervisor with general processes
- Provide reception cover during busy periods
- Assist the Marketing team with event preparation when needed
- General administrative and office support
Key Skills required:
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of payroll is an advantage
- Adaptable and confident handling a range of tasks
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Friendly, professional phone manner
- Effective communicator and team player
- Experience using Itris and Merit software is helpful
