Welder / Fabricator – Gosfield, Essex, Β£14-Β£16 per hour (DOE) – Temp to Perm A specialist engineering company in Gosfield is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join their team. Working closely with the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor, you\’ll play a key role in the build of car transporters, either independently or as part of a small team. Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm What you\’ll be doing: Welding and fabricating the main body-build of car transporters MIG welding in all positions on material 5mm and above Reading and interpreting CAD drawings Maintaining safe working practices and complying with HSEQ policies Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment, including personal air-fed helmets Supporting the production plan by meeting quality and efficiency standards What we\’re looking for: Previous welding and fabricating experience preferred (training available) Ability to MIG weld confidently in multiple positions Strong attention to detail with high-quality workmanship Good planning and organisation skills, able to work to deadlines Capable of working independently and as part of a team Positive, problem-solving attitude Commitment to health & safety and following safe systems of work What\’s in it for you: Overtime opportunities Monthly employee raffle Biannual vouchers Quarterly food events Free on-site parking Electric car charging facilities PPE supplied, including high-spec air-fed welding helmets Interested?
