This role offers the opportunity to work on an exceptional variety of projects, ranging from modern vehicles to rare and prestigious heritage cars.
Responsibilities will include the stripping, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of vehicle components, requiring a meticulous approach and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering outstanding standards across restoration, repair, and vehicle preparation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Stripping and refitting vehicle body components
- Removal and installation of doors, wings, bumpers, grilles, lighting systems, trims, and associated fittings
- Dismantling heritage and classic vehicles for restoration projects
- Inspecting components for wear, damage, and refurbishment requirements
- Reassembling vehicles to a high standard following repair or restoration work
- Working closely with bodyshop, restoration, and paint teams
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Previous experience as an MET Fitter, Strip & Fit Technician, Coachwork Fitter, or similar
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body assemblies and component fitting
- Experience working on modern vehicles and/or classic vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team
- A genuine interest in automotive restoration and vehicle craftsmanship
