We're working with a fast-growing engineering business based in Witham, providing expert machinery and production maintenance across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and London. They're now looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled and close-knit team.
This role is ideal for a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how, especially if you've worked in FMCG environments and enjoy being out on the road.
What's on Offer:- Up to £20 per hour (DOE)
- Overtime at 1.5x your hourly rate
- Travel paid from Witham to and from site
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Holiday buy-back & loyalty schemes
- Permanent role with a family-run, supportive company
- Site-based repairs and maintenance across the East and South East
- Mechanical and light electrical fault-finding
- Conveyor system inspections, repairs, and rebuilds
- Breakdown response and scheduled maintenance work
- Strong mechanical background (engineering or automotive - e.g., engine rebuilds)
- Some electrical maintenance experience
- Previous work in FMCG environments is a big plus
- Flexible and self-motivated with a full UK driving licence
