We are recruiting for a Production Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing company in Maldon on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the movement of materials and finished products across the site while ensuring production runs smoothly.
The Role
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Supplying raw materials to production lines
- Moving finished goods into the warehouse and dispatch areas
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects
- Assisting with stock movements and general warehouse duties
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the production team as required
What We're Looking For
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Previous forklift experience within a manufacturing and production environment
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work
- Own transport is beneficial due to the shift patterns and location
Working Hours
Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
