Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production company based near Maldon, Essex on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, reliable, and happy to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning production and factory areas to maintain high hygiene standards
- Baling and disposing of waste materials safely and efficiently
- Cleaning communal areas, including toilets, staff facilities, and offices
- Carrying out general cleaning and hygiene duties across the site
- Keeping outdoor pathways clear and free from debris using shovels
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle due to the site's location
- Previous cleaning experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is desirable
- The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
- Comfortable carrying out any manual handling and physical tasks
- Strong organisational skills with a reliable and hardworking attitude
