We are currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a growing manufacturing business based in the Langham area near Colchester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, progression, and pay increases once permanent.
You will be responsible in each stage of the process from prepping to paint spraying and finishing. Due to location, a full UK driving licence is essential.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing metal components prior to painting (cleaning, masking, sanding)
- Spray painting steel and other fabricated metal products
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes to specification
- Working with wet paint systems and industrial coatings
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the paint area
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer within a manufacturing or metalwork environment
- Experience working with steel or similar metal materials
- Confident using spray guns and paint preparation equipment
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
