Do you have Land Surveying or Utility Surveying experience? If so, our client, a company offering solutions to a variety of industries involved in construction covering road, rail, nuclear, airports, garage forecourts, housing developments and drilling based in the Maldon area, will be keen to hear about you.

Duties:

  • Working alongside the Operations Director
  • Going to client sites to survey and mark up drawings
  • Using GPS, ground penetrating radar and CAT to ascertain location of utilities to add to maps and drawings
  • Use AutoCAD to produce drawings
  • Typically you will be out on site 3 days per week and in office 2 days per week
  • When in the office you may also assist engineers with other duties
  • Client sites are situated all over the UK and this may mean occasional overnight stays in hotels
  • Long term there is the opportunity for development into a management position

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Utility tracing ideal
  • Knowledge of land surveying preferred
  • CAD experience is preferred
  • Must have a clean driving licence
  • Would consider all levels of candidates including recent graduates or college leavers who have studied surveying
  • Must have good customer facing skills

Benefits:

  • When in office hours of work will be 9 - 5 Monday to Friday
  • When on site hours will be 8 - 4.30
  • 20 days holiday + bank holiday + 3-5 days for Christmas shutdown
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience + generous subsistence allowance
