Do you have Land Surveying or Utility Surveying experience? If so, our client, a company offering solutions to a variety of industries involved in construction covering road, rail, nuclear, airports, garage forecourts, housing developments and drilling based in the Maldon area, will be keen to hear about you.
Duties:
- Working alongside the Operations Director
- Going to client sites to survey and mark up drawings
- Using GPS, ground penetrating radar and CAT to ascertain location of utilities to add to maps and drawings
- Use AutoCAD to produce drawings
- Typically you will be out on site 3 days per week and in office 2 days per week
- When in the office you may also assist engineers with other duties
- Client sites are situated all over the UK and this may mean occasional overnight stays in hotels
- Long term there is the opportunity for development into a management position
Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of Utility tracing ideal
- Knowledge of land surveying preferred
- CAD experience is preferred
- Must have a clean driving licence
- Would consider all levels of candidates including recent graduates or college leavers who have studied surveying
- Must have good customer facing skills
Benefits:
- When in office hours of work will be 9 - 5 Monday to Friday
- When on site hours will be 8 - 4.30
- 20 days holiday + bank holiday + 3-5 days for Christmas shutdown
- Salary negotiable depending on experience + generous subsistence allowance
