Our client has been providing design and build services for residential developments and individual building projects for 18 years. They are keen to recruit a Junior Design Assistant who has good Photoshop skills to colourise and prepare drawings for planning applications.
The company do the initial sketches working with clients through to full construction drawings. This is a small practice that can offer a friendly but busy work environment where individual effort can be recognised.
Duties:
- Working alongside seasoned professionals to assist with producing drawings
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications for developers
- Detail development layouts and house type planning drawings using Photoshop
- Assist with general office duties
Skills and Experience:
- Must have excellent Photoshop skills
- AutoCAD experience would be beneficial
- Must be diligent and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and must be happy to assist with general office duties
Benefits:
- £21,000 to £23,300 depending on experience
- Hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm on Friday with 1 hour lunch
- 20 days holiday + bank
