We have a new and exciting opportunity for an electromechanical Engineer for a company based in Ipswich, Suffolk! With an excellent salary on offer with fantastic overtime and other salary enhancements.
We need a skilled engineer who has experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. The primary duties of this role will be the repair, service and overhaul of pumps, gear boxes, fan units, electric motors etc. This role will involve some site work, but you will be primarily based in the workshop. Some electrical experience is essential, but some training can be provided.
Engineer duties include:
- Preparing various pumps, motors, gearboxes etc. for evaluation/quotation
- Carrying out all required repairs and testing
- Travelling to and from site as required for the job
- Being on call as part of a rota system
We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer who can work off their own initiative and also work as part of a team when necessary. You will need a valid UK Driving license for this role.
