Group Business Systems Data Analyst

A manufacturing client of ours on the outskirts of Colchester are recruiting a Group Business Systems Data Analyst to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm and paying £30,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This role reports directly to the Group Business Systems Manager.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Generate, maintain, and refine business reports using SQL and Excel
Build and deploy BI dashboards and analytics tools
Collaborate with internal teams to gather and document reporting needs
Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and issue resolution
Perform data import/export and automation tasks using SQL and APIs
Provide first-line support for data and analytics queries

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Group Business Systems Data Analyst position:

Strong IT experience with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI reporting tool
Ability to hit the ground running and deliver dashboards/reports quickly
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to translate data insights for stakeholders
Experience with Sage, Salesforce, or Qlik (preferred)
Familiarity with Python/API for data tasks (desirable)
